Meguiar’s Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax D156

I’ve tested multiple spray waxes and final touch-up sprays, and while most of them are good, Meguiar’s Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax seems to be the best. One of the things I like about it is that it doesn’t leave streaks, and it can be used in direct sunlight. This is especially important for a mobile detailer, as sometimes we work in extreme heat during the summer.

The detailing spray dries clear and doesn’t require much wiping during its drying stage. Simply spray it on and wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel. If the product gets sprayed on plastic trim, it does not leave a stain, which is great. I’ve used a few other products that would leave stains if they weren’t wiped off soon, and that’s not good. Meguiar’s engineers and chemists have done an excellent job with this product.

I use this product for a final wipe down or if a car has been sitting for a few days. The X-Press spray wax leaves a lasting shine, provides protection, and adds gloss for a rich, deep look. On my personal car, I’ve noticed that water beads up really well during and after a rain shower.

This is my preferred product for quickly adding shine with minimal effort using an instant detailer spray.  While this product is good for a quick wipedown wax, our primary services are for ceramic coating installations in the Columbus, Ohio area.
