Fortunately, we get a lot of calls from customers looking to have their carpets shampooed and steam cleaned. Sometimes there are very bad stains that need to be taken out. Unfortunately, however, sometimes they do not come out all the way, but almost always the carpets look 100 percent better. One of the best ways to clean your car’s carpets is to use a vapor steamer, and a heated carpet extractor, and a really strong carpet shampoo. Scrub a dub and bingo! We feel that our technique is one of the best out there.
We use several products to act as shampoo. One product we have had great success with is Extractor Soap from Detail King. Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus is also a great shampoo. There are several great products out there. Before we had the vapor steamer, we had to use a lot more product than what we use now. And, a lot more elbow grease!
The Vapor Steamer we use is an awesome tool. Fortunately, while using the steamer we now have to use very little product, sometimes none at all, because the vapor steamer, at 320 degrees, literally breaks down the dirt and grime in seconds, making it very easy to extract. Well, sometimes easy. Vapor steam cleaners immediately kill dust mites and mold spores and can melt away grease, grime, build-up, and stubborn stains. The steamer has a brush on the end, so with a little scrubbing, the results are amazing. Another benefit is that the seats and carpets are not saturated with water, and they dry very quickly, with great results! The carpets and upholstery seats are left crisp and clean, with no after odors or smells. If a very bad stain is left behind, then it has changed the colors of the carpet fibers, and thus the stain cannot be removed. Sometimes this happens, but if it doesn’t come clean with our methods, it won’t come clean.
Vapor steam cleaners use dry steam, which is only about 6 percent waterless moisture than is in the air we breathe. This means that vapor steam cleaning will not over-saturate carpets and upholstery and the moisture begins to evaporate almost immediately on the surface. The machines can produce thousands of gallons of steam per hour with just a little bit of water.
Vapor steam cleaners have become more popular for cleaning carpets and other surfaces because they are effectively clean with just the use of steam. We use our vapor steamer for every interior detail. It’s a must-have product for those looking for the best results. If our vapor steamer would break or stop working, I’d immediately have to call to get it fixed or buy a new one. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen anytime soon!
