I just picked up my car and love it! Clint puts the detail into " Auto Detail Doctor". He is meticulous, direct and honest. My 2022 Toyota Avalon looks good as new or even better. His recommendation for paint protection film on the front hood and then ceramic coating on the whole car was appreciated. He took time to review washing recommendations and has even put together a care care kit which I took advantage of. Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. I am extremely particular about who touches my car and I could tell from the beginning Clint would take incredible care of my Acura. I really was looking for his opinion on what kind of PPF and possible paint correction he would recommend. I ended up doing a full ceramic protective coating and a mix of liquid and traditional PPF on the front and sides of my car. Everything came so remarkable, I cannot recommend Clint enough for PPF installation, ceramic coating or any kind of paint correction. He will take care care of your car like it’s his own.

Being new to Ohio from Arizona, I had no idea where to trust my vehicles. After spending a couple of weeks researching shops, reading countless Google reviews, and doing my own homework, I decided on Auto Detail Doctor—and I’m glad I did. One of my biggest hobbies is taking care of my vehicles. I genuinely enjoy spending weekends washing, detailing, and installing upgrades. I’m extremely particular about the products I use, the techniques I follow, and the overall quality of the finished result. Because of that, it’s very difficult for me to hand my keys over to someone else. Before committing to anything, I spoke with Clint about what I was hoping to accomplish with both of my vehicles. Great first time experience at Auto Detail Doctor! When I dropped off my truck and saw how clean the shop was, I knew I was in the right place. Clint applied a 4 layer ceramic coating and liquid PPF on my new truck. I brought the truck in with less than 100 miles on the odometer and it was returned to me looking better than new! I recently purchased a 2026 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus in Polymetal Gray Metallic. After researching the paint thickness on this color, I learned that the paint can be relatively thin, making it more susceptible to rock chips on the hood and front bumper, as well as scratches over time. After doing extensive research, I contacted Auto Detail Doctor and spoke with Clint. He took the time to thoroughly explain all of my paint protection options, the benefits of each, and the associated costs. Over the course of several phone calls, Clint was always patient, professional, and happy to answer every question I had. Did PPF on front bumper and hood. Opti-Coat Pro3 ceramic coating on all the paint. PPF on the trunk to help hide some scratches. The coating looks great - very glossy - almost looks like a different color. Also Opti-Glass on all the glass. Did good work.

My first experience with Clint was great. I went to his shop for a quote and immediately noticed how clean he kept his shop. That was a good sign of his attention to detail and pride he takes in his business. He explained my options for a ceramic coating, and based on his Google reviews, I booked with him and he fit my vehicle in the next day. A few days later, I picked my vehicle up and it looked great. Clint did an outstanding job on my Toyota Tacoma. The ceramic coating gave the paint an incredible depth and shine — it honestly looks better than new. You can tell the prep work was done with real attention to detail. The PPF on the hood was installed perfectly. It’s practically invisible, with no bubbles or visible edges, and gives me great peace of mind against rock chips and road debris. Professional, meticulous, and easy to work with — I highly recommend Clint if you’re considering ceramic coating or PPF.

Clint is the best in the business. He did a perfect job installing Suntek Reaction PPF and Opti-Coat Pro 3 on my ‘26 Tesla Model Y. I really appreciate his attention to detail on all the little things such as removing trim pieces and cameras, wrapping inside doorhandles and around all edges to ensure the PPF was applied seamlessly. You truly can’t tell there is any PPF on the vehicle and the Opti-Coat makes it shine. Washing the car is a breeze now with a simple rinse-less wash. Thank you Clint!

Clint did an outstanding job on my Tacoma.  I’ve had other vehicles ceramic coated over the years but this is by far the best job I’ve ever had done.  I had the Opti-Coat Pro3 ceramic coating applied and couldn’t be happier with the result. Didn’t think it was possible for the truck to have that much of a glossy mirror-like shine. Pictures don’t do it justice.  Clint kept me updated on the progress while working on my truck and sent pictures along the way.  Very meticulous and great to work with. Will definitely be calling Clint for my next vehicle.  Thanks again!

Clint delivered an absolutely outstanding PPF and ceramic coating experience on my brand new Lexus GX550. Clint is amazing—meticulous and very, very, very detail oriented, and it shows in every inch of the work he did. He even offered to accept my car on Christmas Day, which speaks volumes about his commitment to customer service. Throughout the five-day process, he kept me fully updated on the status of the car, sending progress updates so I always knew what was happening. What impressed me most was his pride in his craftsmanship: Clint was not happy with the initial PPF on the hood because of some scratches, even though this is a brand new vehicle - and spent additional time polishing out the scratches and re-did the coating. That level of care and refusal to cut corners is rare. Between Clints obsessive attention to detail, high-end PPF and ceramic coating, I am confident my GX550 will stay looking incredible and well protected for decades to come.

Clint did an amazing job restoring the finish on a 1989 Mercedes.  He completely transformed the vehicle. I then had him ceramic coat and apply protective film to a 2023 Honda and again his work was impeccable!  I highly recommend him for car detailing and protection. I had my previous vehicle (mustang) ceramic coated by a dealership detailer/performance shop next to Richard Ford, and it was a one coat system. I was charged almost $1500.00 and I felt like I had been taken advantage of honestly. I got rid of that vehicle recently, and got a new '23 Challenger Hellcat. I didn't want to make the same mistake as before. I did some research, and found the auto detail doctor. After reading through all the reviews and the process of his four coat ceramic system, it was a no brainer that this was the place to bring my car. After talking with Clint, I could tell he takes pride in his work and he doesn't rush through anything to get you out the door. He explained everything up front and doesn't pressure you into doing anything. I do regret not doing to ppf film on the hood, but I may come back and have him do the front bumper/hood at some point. The end result, the car looks fantastic and I am extremely happy with the outcome. I will recommend him to all my friends, and anyone else for that matter I run into that may be looking to get this kind of work done. Thanks again!

Clint is detail oriented and focused on what’s best for you - he doesn’t oversell, he won’t do work that won’t have a good outcome. In my case, I wanted a ppf, but my hood had some chips and my car is black - Clint simply didn’t want it to come out looking bad so he convinced me not to spend the extra money and to focus on restoring the paint as much as possible. I got my 2009 911 paint corrected and ceramic coated and the car is like a black mirror. It looks fantastic. Happy with the outcome, happy with the honesty, craft, attention to detail, pride in his work and quick turnaround. You get what you pay for, folks!

Clint once again did a great repair job on my husband truck. Somehow he got a dent in the tailgate and the body shop that repaired the dent buffed the tailgate and again Clint was our savior. I just picked up my new 2024 Lotus Emira from The  Detail Doctor in Alexandria, OH. Clint did an outstanding job on the vehicle and the Meridian Green paint really jumps now with a nice deep gloss. I dropped the car off Sunday and despite the Labor Day holiday, I got the car back today. Clint is a great guy to deal with and explains the process and the product thoroughly. Clint is meticulous and an excellent “doctor” at what he does!  Despite his incredibly busy schedule, he got us in right away to take care of our new vehicle.  Other businesses wanted us to wait weeks and weeks to get to our car in their shops. He was honest and direct in what we can do to the vehicle to protect it.  We leveraged his knowledge about the correct use and placement of film on the car, as well as had a full ceramic protective coating put on it.  The car looks AMAZING. We've experienced The Detail Doctor's services for over a year on our black 2020 XT5, and we've loved how easy it is to maintain and the compliments we receive on a black SUV here in the Midwest. That's why we just had our new 2026 Pearl Black Acura MDX detailed by The Detail Doctor, located near Columbus, OH. It looks incredible, and we know keeping the ceramic coating and its appearance intact will be a breeze! No more dragging a hose to the garage to wash it, then drying it and worrying about waxing. I was almost as excited to have The Detail Doctor work his magic as I was to get my new vehicle. I chose another black car, fully aware that it would be treated with Opti-Coat.

I knew I came to the right place as soon I stepped into Clint's shop. One of the tell tale signs that I always look for in any auto shop is how clean and meticulous it looks.  If they pay that much care & attention to the detail of their shop, it's a clear reflection of how much attention & care they will pay to your vehicle.  Upon arrival and inspection of my vehicle, Clint he gave me an true and honest opinion on whether he could save the clear coat on my truck and was very up front and transparent that he would do his best but was not sure if I'd be happy with it. (My vehicle had some pretty bad scratches on it caused by someone using a scouring pad to remove some stubborn dirt).  He offered to attempt fix a 6x6 square inch of test spot for no charge to see if the results that he could achieve would be to my liking.  I can tell Clint has super high standards for his craft and the work he puts out because when he was finished with the test spot, he pointed out the little spots that he could not save, which I honestly could not see or notice.  I was happy with the test spot results went ahead with the service and it was the best money I spent.  The difference was night and day. I wish I took before and after pictures.  If you need any detailing on the exterior of your vehicle, you cannot go wrong bringing it to his shop. Clint is an owner operator who cares about his craft and cares that his customers leave happy.

I cannot say enough good things about the Auto Detail Doctor!  As you can see from the photo, my car looks better than when it was driven off the showroom floor.  Clint, the owner of Auto Detail Doctor, was extremely professional throughout the time he had our vehicle, kept us informed, and his attention to detail was second to none.  He treated our car like it was his own and we are extremely pleased with the ceramic Opti-Coat Pro 3 service that he applied. Clint was highly recommended to me by a friend, and after our initial phone call I knew that I wanted to take my new car to him. I am a newbie to the world of ceramic coating and paint protection, but Clint explained everything about the process and what he was going to do to my vehicle. He answered every question that I had, and even sent regular updates with photos of my car before I even picked it back up. Leaving your brand new vehicle with someone to perform a service that you’ve never had done before can be an anxious thing, but Clint was very open and  made me feel completely comfortable leaving it in his care. My vehicle came out looking better than it did the day I got it from the dealer, and it will be protected and looking good for years to come!

I am extremely pleased with the results on the my new 2025 Toyota Camry. Clint is extremely knowledgeable and upfront about the entire process. I was given regular updates and pictures through the process. I highly recommend Clint. He is a perfectionist and will make sure the job is done right. He also takes time to make sure you understand how to maintain the ceramic coating properly. When I picked my car up, we even decided to leave my husband’s 2017 Chevy truck to be coated.

From the initial phone call I knew this process would be very good. Clint explained every detail about what was going to happen to my vehicle. Throughout the process I was given regular updates and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Clint’s attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Auto Detail Doctor. Letting anyone keep your vehicle can be nerve wrecking but Clint made me completely comfortable. My truck will be protected for years to come and the fact that this process goes on my Carfax report is a bonus. This was the first time we used "Auto Doctor Detail" and but we are so glad we found Clint. My husband bought a new truck and wanted to protect it, he found Clint, and we are thrilled he did. First, Clint was so responsive and spent so much time providing the various available options and made you feel like you were his only customer.  He was able to get us in right away and the truck looks better then when we drove it off the lot. The entire experience was so pleasant, from start to end. You actually walk away feeling like you have a new friend when you do business with Clint. We try to promote local businesses and I'm so glad we did. As other reviews have stated, it's not inexpensive, but more than worth the price when you realize it's an investment. If you need ceramic coating in our opinion there is no where else or no one else to call but Clint. Believe me you will not be disappointed. I bought our first Tesla Y in 2021. Wanting to protect the paint on our 2021 Tesla Y I contacted Clint, Auto Detail Doctor near Columbus, Ohio to apply paint protection film along with Opti Coat Ceramic Coating. Clint’s meticulous attention to detail and professional communication keeps me coming back. A friend recommended this place after having two of his vehicles done. I made contact with Clint, the owner and I must say after speaking with him, I was confident that this would be the place to do the job I needed. Clint went over the options available and not at any point did I feel pressured into buying. He was very accommodating for both drop off and pick up times as I work odd hours. He communicated with me thru the entire process. We initially were told that the vehicle would be ready in three days. Once I dropped it off, he immediately went to work and we were able to get it in two days. His work is amazing!!! Before we left, Clint went over maintenance in detail including a demonstration on how to properly clean the car. He gets a 10/10 in customer service. He exceeded our expectations! But don’t just take my word for it…  look at my pic! She’s a beauty! Thank you Clint!

I bought a new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek about three weeks ago.  I did a search on ceramic process after talking to Clint a few times I decided to him.  The reason was that he took the time out of his busy schedule to explain the different levels of Opti-Coat and his process. I don't leave reviews that often. But I make an exception for Auto Detail Doctor. High quality, superior service, and fast turnaround. When you buy a new car, you want to protect your investment as much as possible. Clint goes above and beyond to make sure your car is protected, looking nice and STAYS that way. When I called, I really didn't know what I wanted. I didn't even know if I called the correct business. But Clint took my call and walked me through my options. In the end, he was willing to make a same day appointment to see the car. He finished in two days and my car looked even better than when I purchased it the day before! This is not a cheap endeavor but understand you're making an investment in your transportation. If you own cars for any length of time like I do, this is worth it. Clint at Auto Detail Doctor has detailed a number of different cars for me over the years and has always done a terrific job with the work completed when promised (or early). This project was unique in that my Mini had become covered in a gritty substance that I couldn’t remove on my own. To say Clint pulled off a magic trick would be an understatement. This is our fourth time using Clint to ceramic coat our fourth Tesla with Opti-Coat, and we couldn’t be happier! If you’re considering ceramic coating, I can’t recommend it enough—just go for it! You won’t regret it. Opti-Coat is truly a top-tier ceramic coating, and we trust Clint as the only licensed Opti-Coat installer in the area to apply it. Clint’s extensive experience in the automotive industry, combined with his passion for what he does, shows in the meticulous care he takes with every vehicle. On my last black Tesla, four years after Clint applied the ceramic coating, the paint still looked flawless—smooth, shiny, and like it was brand new. When I traded it in for a newer Tesla Model 3, even the sales associate at Tesla was amazed at how pristine the paint was! After searching & reviewing various ceramic coatings, I selected Opti-Coat due to its scientific properties. After meeting with Clint & seeing his investment in the business, I selected Clint, The Detail Doctor. Clint prepared our 2020 Caddy XT5, applied the SunTech film (hood) & then applied 4 coats of Opti-Coat. I picked my SUV up yesterday and was very impressed. Clint applied ceramic coating to my new Acura and it came out perfect. He explained how the whole process worked and made sure all my questions were answered. I was very impressed with all the knowledge he had on all the details. Words cannot describe how good my car looks!! I recently dropped off my 2025 BMW X5 50e and Clint did an absolutely amazing job! When I was trying to figure out what I wanted, Clint was honest with his recommendations and work. Although it was less work and money for him, he recommended I go with PPF only on the hood and then ceramic the whole thing. He communicated during the weekend with updates. I honestly would recommend anyone who cares about their car to come here and work with Clint. I have a car on order for my wife and plan on bringing it to him whenever that comes in later in the year. My car looks better than the day that I drove it home from the dealership! Clint did an amazing job wrapping and ceramic coating our new Miata.  Before selecting Clint, I did a significant amount of research on PPF and ceramic coating products.  Clint uses top of the line products.  There is a lot of information out there debating the which is the absolute best product on the market but in the end, as long as you have one of the top 2 products, the outcome will all be dependent on the installer.  After listening to our needs, Clint did a great job advising us on his recommendations.  His passion, attention to detail, and true concern for your car are next level.  In the end, I chose Clint at Auto Detail Doctor because I new that he would personally be doing the work and not some technician I didn't personally interview.

I have a 2017 Silverado that was keyed.  Clint was able to remove the key mark that ran from the front bumper to the tailgate.  I had it ceramic coated as well while it was there and couldn’t be happier.

We drove our new 2024 Lexus LC500 directly from the dealership to Clint Allerton, the Auto Detail Doctor. When I first contacted Clint, I asked for the best possible treatment for my BMW 760l. During the discussion, we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of putting a protective film over the entire car. Although it meant less money for Clint, he provided me with sound reasoning for not installing protective film on specific parts of the car, as I would not be happy with the outcomes. Clint is warm, friendly and a true expert in his field. He epitomizes the "small-time business owner with wonder customer service." Within three days, my car was cleaned, ceramic coated, and had a protective film placed on the hood. I highly recommend Clint and his services.

What a pleasant experience working with the Auto Detail Doctor! We called and were able to get on their schedule quicker than anticipated. Very professional. We purchased a new Tesla Model X and immediately reached out to several local companies about PPF and Ceramic coatings.  There was a wide range of costs provided with little detail about the services.  That is until we spoke with Clint at Auto Detail Doctor.  He reviewed all options and recommendations in detail with us so we could make the best decision with protecting our investment.   He was extremely accommodating and flexible with drop off and pickup.  The car looks perfect and far better than when it was delivered by Tesla.   He even took additional time to demonstrate how we should care for the coatings and wash when it gets dirty to extend the life and appearance.  I honestly can't say enough great things about our experience with Auto Detail Doctor.  We will be taking any and all future auto purchases to him for protection.
